This was the first time my wife and I ever purchased a house out of state and she was instrumental in helping us through the hurtles of working with a construction company on the new build, dealing with a challenging mortgage company, meeting with a new management company and then having to close by mail. She is a very caring and communicative person who really knows the local real estate market. Local knowledge Process expertise Responsiveness Negotiation skills I could not recommend a nicer, genuine, honest, and hard-working realtor. This market was tough to navigate. We decided to build and Janette made sure that we got exactly what we wanted and made the process as easy as building a house during Covid can be. I spent long hours after building delays on the phone with her picking a short term rental and included her on many angry emails. In two weeks we move in and I’m not sure we would have pulled it off without her. So, after I got settled in my area it was time to find my parents a house. Janette spent days driving around with us until we finally put an offer in which got denied (even thought it was 11k over and all cash) but Janette was honest with my parents about what the house was worth and didn’t push them to overpay. After all that work my parents decided that it wasn’t the right time to buy. I felt awful about wasting her time but she assured me it was okay. She is more than a realtor and will treat you like family.
